Dragon Ball Super

The reason why newer episodes look better isn't because the schedule itself has improved, but rather that the animators are playing it smarter and using tactics that minimise the stress and make sure the episode makes it on time while still looking consistent.

I can easily watch the original series or read the original manga but this to me was a such a Major failure to live up to those previous titles in many categories that I'm surprised it even got finish by 131 episodes later. Fans of the Dragon Ball franchise were eagerly waiting for the story to continue upon the release of Dragon Ball Super's first couple of arcs but were instead greeted by the start to a long remake of Battle of Gods and Fukkatsu no F.

I personally hate stuff like this in the writing of these characters if they aren't gonna follow through on what they can contribute to the arc because the movie left the idea open that both these characters would have aged (which is something that the writer should also fix) Not to mention that it would be dangerous for them to be there because Frieza was defeated and killed by saiyans who resemble the two boys, that being of course Goku and Future Trunks.

Goku, even in the Japanese dub, matured significantly from the end of Dragon Ball to the end of Z. He has absolutely regressed in character rather than us just seeing who he truly is. Zamasu is immortal, and when combined with the power of Goku Black, is essentially Goku's equal.

Love the relationship development from Goku and Vegeta, reminded me of when they were absorbed by Buu. In Dragon Ball Z, when Goku beat the final antagonist, it was a thematic representation of hard work. In-universe, the characters act as though Future Trunks always had blue hair, and some flashbacks have been reanimated to give Trunks blue hair.

Basically my point is this Goku feels more like Dragon Ball Goku which I honestly really appreciate , he was bad ass when he needed to (For example, against Tao) but always the same dumbass that I loved watching (patting girls crotches, asking everyone what gender they are).

The oneliners that weren't in there may have been TFS inspired, but the plot beats-Goku forgetting the Senzu, the bugging Zamasu, the kissing scene, literally every "dumb" moment Goku has in Super are all in the sub. Ehm yes, both black and zamasu are from future Trunks time line.

Even though yes we do get more about the lore regarding the gods of destruction and angels as well as its laws and the order that governs universes and certain species with their own unique traits but we should be given enough information that could keep viewers invested as it tend to deviates to having what is perhaps very common nowadays and that is fake tension or the likelihood of something at stake which lets be honest the show is called dragon ball where the dead can be bought back to the living anyways however what made the previous series standout was how English Dub the mood change in the story of when something dangerous was not what the heroes could expect.

He along with his sister Vados can be a little mischievous (mostly vados) but no doubt his calm demeanour as well as his mysterious origin of his species and great power makes him a welcome addition alongside other characters in the show. Zamasu: This was the most traditional Dragon Ball Z arc in the whole show.

You see Vegeta has grown a lot more since dragon ball Z as a character who only cared for only being the best of himself and putting those around him under him, since then he has become more understanding and disciplined as a warrior who actually ensures the safety of those around him and every arc adds a little more of a certain level of conviction, as well as emotional and physical layer to his character.
